This week, nature delivered a blow that has shattered the hearts of families across Texas and New Mexico.
In Central Texas, catastrophic flash flooding has claimed the lives of at least 110 people, including 30 innocent children. Texas Governor Greg Abbott shared Tuesday that 161 people are still unaccounted for—a staggering and painful reality.

Nowhere has the heartbreak been more acute than in Kerr County, where floodwaters overwhelmed Camp Mystic, an all-girls summer camp. Rescuers continue searching for a counselor and five girls still missing. The bodies of seven young girls from North Texas who had attended the camp have already been recovered. Along the Guadalupe River corridor, recovery efforts have located the remains of 23 additional victims across Travis, Williamson, Burnet, Tom Green, and Kendall counties.
Meanwhile, in Ruidoso, New Mexico, flash floods sent the Rio Ruidoso surging over 20 feet, submerging homes and roadways in a matter of hours. Search and rescue teams are racing against time as entire neighborhoods reel from destruction.
These are not just numbers. These are sons, daughters, mothers, counselors, friends.
At ReUnite America USA, we believe that in the darkest hour, we must be the light. That’s why we are joining forces with local organizations, first responders, and grassroots volunteers who are already on the ground—bringing not only emergency aid, but compassion, dignity, and presence.
We are mobilizing to assist with search and recovery, distribution of emergency supplies, and the longer-term restoration of homes and lives.
This is a time to mourn, but also a time to move. A time to unite, to rise, and to reach across state lines and offer more than just thoughts—we must offer hands, hearts, and hope.
To the grieving families across Texas and New Mexico: We see your pain. We honor your loss. We stand beside you in your sorrow, and we are here to walk with you through the rebuilding.
Because healing is not just possible—it’s our responsibility.
Together, we ReUnite!
